UNGU BAND
I like the purple bands, since personnel cool-cool.
Purple is Indonesian music group, whose members Pasha (singer), Makki (bass), Enda (guitar), Oncy (guitar), and Rowman (drums). Until 2007 they have produced four albums and two mini albums.
Purple was formed in 1996. Motor constituent is Ekky (guitar) and then the vocalist is Michael, while the drum is held by Van derr Krabb Pasha. In 1997, when the Purple to a gig, Pasha Van derr Krabb 'disappeared' and replace by Rowman. Enda who previously was his roadies Ekky also join the Purple.
In 2000, Purple begin preparing their first album, which finally released July 6th, 2002 titled song. Previously, Purple participate fill out two songs on a compilation album together click Lakuna, Borneo, Picnic, and Energy. The second song is "Desire" and "Flowers". This album's first single, "Imagine Moot" became ost. sinetron ABG (RCTI). Although spelled success, this album just got a Platinum Award after nearly two years this album was released.
When going into the kitchen to record a second album, Ekky decided to leave. Oncy who was coming out of funky chosen to replace Ekky Cpl. The most beautiful place second album Purple released in December 2003. This album is a candidate "Because She's You" as the first single and "Voice of the Heart" was selected as the second single. Released only four months, sales have reached 80 000 (eighty thousand) copies. A significant amount when compared with the first album, 'has' to get the platinum (150,000 copies) in a matter of time and a half years. [1]
In 2005, Violet became one of the artists who collaborated with Tim Christensen Tim Christensen on the latest album, "Compound".
Floating album was released in December 2005. On the third album with the single "By Time", Purple got double platinum. [2] With Time By delivering Purple hits so MTV Exclusive Artist in December 2005. Echo "Good Time" penetrated the neighbor country, Malaysia. Purple released a mini album for Ramadhan 1427 H called heaven which was released September 2006. [4] Within ten days since the release mini-album, heaven, has sold 150 thousand copies. [Five] Even Vice President Yusuf Kalla told the award 'Inspiring 'on heaven religious albums.
